FPSProbe provides browser-based frame-rate and display-timing tests. This policy describes the first-release tools and website. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
1. Test measurements
The FPS test draws graphics in your browser and samples frame intervals. The refresh rate test samples browser animation timing. The values you enter and the resulting measurements are held in the active page while you use the tool. The tools do not send test measurements to an FPSProbe application API.
The FPS scan saves up to 10 results in this browser's localStorage. Saved records include the scan time, result, raw frame timestamps, refresh-rate estimate, viewport, pixel ratio, WebGL renderer, and whether the scan was partial or fully visible. A local grouping key is calculated from the browser user agent, screen resolution, pixel ratio, renderer and refresh-rate estimate. These records and the grouping key are not automatically uploaded.
Closing or refreshing the page ends the active scan but does not delete saved results. Use Clear saved results in the tool to delete the current history, or clear site storage in your browser to remove all locally saved site data, including older history versions. Sharing a result is a separate action you choose. Your browser, operating system or extensions may have their own caching, diagnostics or accessibility behavior, which FPSProbe does not control.
2. Website requests and analytics
Serving the site requires ordinary network requests. The hosting and security services used for the deployment may process technical request information such as an IP address, requested URL, time, and browser or device details to deliver and protect the site.
The current site configuration does not enable Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Baidu Tongji, Plausible or Vercel Analytics. Test measurements are not sent as analytics events.
Google AdSense is not enabled in the current site configuration. Hosting, browser and analytics services may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies and cached data through your browser settings; blocking scripts may affect optional analytics or site behavior.
3. Messages you send
If you email FPSProbe, the email provider receives the address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information in a general inquiry. Email retention depends on the support and mail systems used by the site owner.
4. Providers and international processing
The site may use hosting, security, analytics and email providers selected by the site owner. These providers may process technical information in countries other than your own and apply their own retention and privacy terms. We update this notice when our use of these services changes.
5. Your choices
You can stop a test by using its Stop control or by leaving the page. You can manage browser cookies and cached files in your browser. If you contact the site, you may ask about the information included in that correspondence.
